A. If you lost your spouts, please call us at 1-877-6-GREMED and we will replace them free of charge, if you pay for shipping. Shipping 12 spouts typically costs under $10 for ground service.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. If you need to return product, please call us at 1-877-6-GREMED and we will issue you an RMA number. Do not discard the product that you wish to replace, we will pay for return shipping on the defective product. When you call us, please have the lot# of the product you wish to replace on hand.

Q. Why use Foam Safe instead of alcohol rub products?
A. Alcohol/CHG and alcohol surgical products fail to remove debris from the hands because there is not  surfactant  or machanical washing  to remove debris. In many cases dirt, debris, or  pathogens such spores can remain on the skin when  using only  alcohol products.

Q. Which antiseptic  can I use for the first scrub of the day?
A. Persistence and cumulative effect are the key. Persistence is the ability of the agent to continue reducing the number of batecteria after the initial application. Cumulative effect is the progressive  decrease in the number  of microorganisms recovered after repeated application of uses. CHG (Clorhexidine Gluconate) has both abilities.

Q. Can we eliminate our soap and brush if we decide to switch to Alcohol/CHG or Alcohol Rub products?
A. No. Soap and surgical brush will still be needed for handwashing  when  the hands are visible or possibly soiled. Remember the practice of frequent and proper handwashing in health care can prevent the spread of bacteria. According  to CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "Hand washing is the single  most important  procedure  for  preventing nosocomial infections".
